Nishan -e- Haider of Pakistan

Nishan-e-Haider is the highest military award given to soldiers of the Pakistan Army for their exceptional acts of bravery and valor. It is considered the most prestigious honor a Pakistani soldier can receive and is equivalent to the Victoria Cross and the United States’ Medal of Honor. The word ‘Nishan-e-Haider’ translates to ‘Emblem of the Lion.’
